Our house style, Penderyn Madeira 70cl 46 abv, has won the ‘Masters’ at the Spirits Business Global World Whisky Masters 2025.

Stephen Davies, Penderyn’s CEO, said:

“The Penderyn Distillery will be 25 years old in September 2025, and this is an exceptional award for the house style Madeira and Single Malt Welsh Whisky. Dr Jim Swan (1941-2017), a Scot and our first Master Distiller, said the fruity spirit from our Faraday Still, which is at an industry spirit draw of 92%,  should be finished in a Madeira cask, and this is a great award for the distillery and him.”
