Penderyn Distillery, a prestigious name in the world of Welsh whisky, is set to make waves at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes with the launch of Penderyn Faraday, now available in an exclusive 1-litre bottle.
This expanded offering, coupled with a fresh design, marks an exciting evolution for the renowned Travel Retail Exclusive.
Penderyn Faraday, originally introduced as a 70cl Travel Retail Exclusive, has undergone a transformation both in size and appearance. The larger 1-litre bottle is presented in a striking new gift carton, enhancing its appeal to whisky enthusiasts and travellers seeking an extraordinary experience.

Penderyn Faraday, a true testament to innovation and precision, pays homage to Michael Faraday, the eminent physicist and chemist. The whisky is named after Penderyn’s unique Faraday Still, a single copper pot designed by Dr. David Faraday, a member of the groundbreaking Victorian scientist’s family. The spirit from this distinctive still is renowned for its flavorsome profile, strength, and purity.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Gently light Ruby Port with a perfume of fruits, raisins, and vanilla notes.
Palate: Delicate and creamy with dried fruits, very floral honey, and wood spices.
Finish: Medium and gentle, sweet yet accompanied by a nutty dryness.

Penderyn Faraday was initially launched on October 1st, 2008, and was honored with the Spirits Business Travel Retail Masters Gold Award in 2021. The new 1-litre Penderyn Faraday Travel Retail Exclusive is scheduled for release in October 2023.
