A refined long-aged expression that keeps the clean, fruit-led style of our distillery while gaining subtle depth from extended oak maturation. The result is composed, elegant, and quietly confident, with everything in balance from start to finish.

Cask 137/2005 Tasting Notes:

Nose: Vanilla cream, honeycomb, baked apple, ripe pear, toasted coconut and gentle oak spice.

Palate: Rich and rounded, with vanilla fudge, caramel, orchard fruits, apricot, delicate cinnamon and warming oak spice.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering vanilla and toasted oak, gradually fading into refined, dry oak tannins.

ABV: 58.9%

For the first time, you can purchase Penderyn directly under bond, securing your whisky at a price exclusive of UK Excise Duty and VAT, letting us take care of the storage until you’re ready to bring it home.

To mark the launch of this service, we’re covering 100% of your storage and insurance costs for the first 12 months, holding your bottles in optimal warehouse conditions with no rush to take delivery.

How it works

Upfront price: You pay only the in-bond price today. Duty and VAT remain suspended until you take delivery.

First year free: We cover 100% of storage and insurance costs for the first 12 months.

Duty & delivery on withdrawal: When you’re ready to have your whisky delivered, you simply pay the prevailing UK Excise Duty, VAT and standard delivery charge at that point.

Ongoing storage: After year one, storage is charged annually at £10 per case of 6, or £5 per individual bottle (minimum charge of £30 per year).

This is currently available on our latest 21 Year Old release, with plans to extend the option to more of our whiskies in future.
